| When we put
new Saddlebags on the bike, one of the things we missed, was being able
to lock up the helmet. The new bags covered the lock, rendering it useless.
After contemplating several locations, we decided to re-locate the lock,
up by the front wheel. |

This bracket kit allows you to recover your factory
lock, and mount it to the front fork (under the fender) using your existing
fender and helmet lock bolts. The bracket basically has three holes
in it. One for the fender bolt. Two holes for the helmet lock.
You'll get the bracket kit and installation instructions. You will not need to purchase any additional hardware as you re-use the screws / bolts from the lock and the fender. They are long enough to install this kit. It comes coated in gloss black or made from aluminum (depending on the bracket), but you can also have it chrome plated if you know of a chrome house.. |
